KTS-Electronic introduces the successor of GOLD SCAN II, the worldwide known 3D gold detector, which is used by professional gold prospectors and treasure hunters.
With over 25 years of experience in development, production and practical usage of gold detectors worldwide KTS-Electronic has great knowledge, which we have invested in the development of our new GOLD SCAN III.
With a search performance of up to 30 % increase the new GOLD SCAN III is very impressive regarding gold and precious metal detection and was especially refined for the search after small gold pieces and nuggets.
Improvements of the new GOLD SCAN III:
- New active ID metal discrimination mode for constant discrimination of the detected metals and display of metal type, e.g. Gold, Copper, Aluminium
- Touch display indicates all necessary information constantly
- Higher sensitivity upon gold and increase of search performance of up to 30 % regarding small gold pieces, e.g. gold nuggets
- KTS 3D visualisation App, preinstalled on the provided tablet computer (Android)
- Wireless data transfer via Bluetooth®
- Sturdy Aluminium housing with external rechargeable Li-Ion battery and additional car charger
GOLD SCAN III combines the technology of Pulse Induction metal detectors with our advanced active metal discrimination feature and 3D visualisation software. GOLD SCAN III detects gold and other metals up to a maximum depth of about 5 meters, is even applicable on difficult terrain (i.e. strongly mineralized desert soil, mountainous area) and can be used in water.
Since conventional metal detectors are not able to deliver further information about the findings, the application of GOLD SCAN III guarantees important clues on size, type and shape of the findings. Therefore the effort of gold seekers and treasure hunters will be significantly reduced.
Electronic unit
The advantages of GOLD SCAN III compared to its predecessor is that the sensitivity to gold and precious metals substantially was increased and the setting was simplified. The new compact and robust contruction is in an aluminium housing, which is lightweight and easy to handle.
The GOLD SCAN III is equipped with the new active touch display, which means it instantly shows the measurement on the display and the settings can be changed easy through the touch pad.
While the previous models were equipped with installed batteries, the new series has external rechargeable Li-Ion batteries, which can be changed easy.

1 x 1 m search frame (3.28 x 3.28 ft)
The 1 x 1 m search frame is for the search after large objects and a faster ground scanning of large areas. It can be used and carried by one or two persons.
30x30 cm searchcoil (12")
The waterproof 30x30 cm coil can be used without additional adjustment, for very small metals as well as large objects.
Cylindrical waterproof searchcoil
Due to its dimensions of 5 x 20 cm the waterproof cylindrical searchcoil especially is appropriate for the search in wells, narrow cavities and under water.

KTS GOLD SCAN III software during data acquisitionAll programs are already installed on the provided tablet computer; for our customers who want to operate with their own laptop we enclose an USB flash drive, for the usage on other computers.
Battery pack
The power supply for the high performance pulse induction system is guaranteed through the external 2600 mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery, which is fully charged via Li-ion battery charger within 90 minutes. Running time amounts to 4-6 hours, depending on coil size and use of headphones.
